Mr Givens writes: "Attached to this e-mail is a copy of my units information for your "Socks for Soldiers" program. Several friends of mine throughout the service have been involved in your program and speak very highly of it. I am a Platoon Leader in the 2d Engineer Battalion here in Afghanistan. Given that it is starting to get cold out and will be getting much much colder I thought it would be great if I could get my guys some of your socks for the winter days. I currently wear your socks and haven't any compplaints. In fact, I wish I would have known about this program months ago so I could have outfitted my troops prior to the cold weather setting in. Please let me know if and what you are able to do in order to support us out here. Anything and everything you can do will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!"
