Mr. Sulpizio include the following words with his request for socks:
"...currently serving at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. Last December I was deployed as well and received Fox River socks as a result of the generous support and coordination through your company. That simple gesture added comfort and aided the will of both myself and brothers in arms during a time that tested all of us.
In lieu of our return for another tour, I am reaching out for support of my soldiers currently deployed to Afghanistan for a 1 year deployment under Operation Enduring Freedom. We are a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter task force with the mission of flying multiple air assault operations each day; moving troops in and out of fire bases nestled in hostile terrain. We would greatly appreciate any support in the form of Fox River socks to strengthen the morale and welfare of our crew chiefs, door gunners, and pilots. As their Commander, I want to thank you in advance for your generosity and efforts. ..."
