Fox River® Presents PEAK Series™ Performance Socks
Outdoor and Snow Lines Improve Intense Activity

Osage, Iowa — (Jan. 23, 2013) – Tired feet make for a tired body and can cut short a trail trek. Fox River has the answer: the PEAK Series™ of performance socks, featuring the new Helix Fit™ system, designed to improve comfort, endurance, and recovery during intense hikes, runs and snow adventures. The Helix Fit™ combines volumetric compression—which forms to your foot with a fit like no other – and zone specific features that enhance your comfort, such as anti-slip anchor zones, memory-knit construction, and a comfort rib top as well as comfort mesh ventilation zones.

The socks are knit with a PrimaLoft® and Merino wool blend for lightweight insulation, thermoregulation and moisture management. Targeted cushioning reduces pressure points and compression eases tiring and aids recovery. Reinforced heels and toes extend the life of the socks. “We’re excited about the Helix Fit™ and its ability to stave off foot and leg fatigue,” said Jennifer Whitley, Brand Manager for Fox River. “We really believe these socks make a difference for intense performance.” The Helix Fit™ was designed to give active adventurers an edge on their next challenge so they can push a little further and achieve more.

The PEAK Series™ complements the existing lines of outdoor and snow FoxSox and are available in 11 styles and many colors for the outdoor exploits of men, women and kids. Women’s and kids’ styles are specially designed to fit the foot contours and volume of these smaller feet, not just be a scaled down version of the men’s socks. Fox River was the first brand to introduce a women’s specific-fit performance sock. Outdoor styles are suited for trail running, hiking, climbing or nearly any adventure in quarter crew and crew heights. Snow styles feature insulation and cushioning specially designed for skiing and snowboarding and the volumetric compression really helps to cut back on calf-crunch.

The series makes its public debut January 22-26 at the All Mountain Demo and Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, Utah. If you’re at the ORWM, stop by booth #28043 to see the folks from Fox River and check out the new PEAK Series™, along with other new items for 2013.
